Saif Anwar Jappa, chairman of Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) in collaboration with the local authoritative bodies has initiated the Master Plan Rawalpindi for the development of Rawalpindi for the upcoming 25 years.
According to the plan by the chairman of Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), no housing scheme/ housing society will be granted permission to develop itself outside the region being ascribed to them. Along with it, they will be synchronized with the central business.
The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has been working on the Master Plan Rawalpindi for the last three years and during the announcement the chairman Saif Anwar Jappa of Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) asked the people to post their comments on the official website and handles of RDA regarding the Peri-urban Structure Plan and Site Development Zones.
The agenda behind the Master Plan Rawalpindi is that the majority of the developmental projects specifically the residential projects initiated do not fulfill the legalities and are built in a way that they do not fully facilitate in context to the primary structures like graveyards, and parks, schools, and institutions as well as to set up sewage treatment facilities, water purification systems, and arrange for water delivery.
