Islamabad: CDA is all set to establish a new real estate
Chairman of the CDA Authority CDA Amir Ali Ahmed said that the demand of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce Industry for setting up a new Industrial Estate was rational and also confirmed that the CDA is ready to complete this demand to complete the project in collaboration with the ICCI.
According to a news release released here, he said this while speaking to an ICCI team led by President Muhammad Shakeel Munir, who visited the CDA Head Office and met with Chairman CDA Amir Ali Ahmed to discuss major challenges facing the business community.
Speaking to the delegation, Amir Ali suggested that ICCI draught a complete proposal for a new industrial park and send it to the CDA so that the project may be moved forward in conjunction with the relevant government ministries.
The meeting agreed that ICCI would meet with Chairman CDA again on November 15 with a ready-made plan for an industrial estate.
Chairman CDA agreed that the Kahuta Industrial Triangle had been overlooked in terms of development, but stated that road carpeting work had begun in the industrial estate and that the remaining difficulties would be handled soon.
Amir Ali, speaking to the delegation, suggested that ICCI prepare a co-operation agreement.
He promised that the CDA would continue to collaborate with ICCI to develop industrial zones, marketplaces, and the city.
President ICCI Muhammad Shakeel Munir spoke at the event, informing Chairman CDA of the important concerns confronting the business sector and emphasizing the importance of finding solutions.
He stated that CDA's function is critical in resolving corporate challenges and that it is hoped that CDA will fulfill this duty efficiently.
