Cm Reviews progress on the uplift scheme in Koh-e-Suleman:
Lahore: the chief minister Sardar Usman Buzdar held a meeting at his office to review the progress on Development schemes in the Koh-e-Suleman area of DG khan.
According to popular news sources, the meeting was held at the CM’s office SMBR Babar Hayat Tarar, CEO of Urban Unit as well as a few others attended the meeting while the commissioner and DC DG Khan participated via video link.
During the meeting, the CM was directed to finalize the master plan of THQ Hospital as well as the Tehsil complex without any sort of delay. He also added that the land should also be earmarked for the judges’ and Lawyer’ chambers. Similarly, soil and water quality testing is something that should be completed without any further delay.
Along with the expansion, the Koh-e-Suleman Development Authority should be studied and the public development welfare schemes under the district development package are completed within the timeframe in the location of DG khan. He added and termed the district development package a historic step to ensure holistic development and inclusive growth in the province.
The CM explained that the development of the Sorra dam would benefit people because it will provide water to people for irrigation and boost agriculture in the area. This project has been designed to meet the needs of the people, he stated, unfortunately, no past government thought of storing hill torrent water. Resources were wasted by starting exhibitory projects meanwhile ignoring the people’s needs. He also mentioned that the past rulers compounded the difficulties of people instead of actually solving them.
