Army Chief inaugurated Ammar Chowk flyover
Rawalpindi: The Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa inaugurated the Ammar Chowk Flyover
According to what the news sources reported, the remodeling and extension of the Ammar chowk project were inaugurated three days ahead of the designated time.
RDA chairman Tariq Murtaza, Rawalpindi Division Commissioner Gulzar Hussain Shah, MNA and PTI Additional secretary-general Amir Mahmood Kayani, Provincial Parliamentary Secretary Chaudry Adnan, Federal Parliamentary Secretary Sheikh Rashid Shafiq, MPA Haji Amjad, Chaklala Cantonment Board and FWO officials, as well as the station commander, were also present.
According to the reports Captain Shaheed Ammar’s Mother was also present at the Inaugural Ceremony and was accompanied by two models of the flyover. One of the models was to be presented to the mother of the martyred Captain whereas, the other was presented to the army chief Qamar Javed Bajwa.
During the inauguration ceremony, the MNA of the constituency Sheikh Rashid Shafiq was also presented with a model of the Ammar Chowk at the request of the army chief.
General Bajwa thanked the Punjab Government as well as the Provincial Parliamentary Secretary Chaudhry Adnan for offering the necessary funds for the project. The Army Chief suggested that the FWO has maintained its standard by diligently completing the project in time.
