The Capital Development Authority's 52nd meeting approved allocations for new development projects totaling over 2 billion rupees. The CDA Development Working Party authorized key capital development projects on Wednesday.
The projects are estimated to be worth more than 24 billion dollars. Members of the board include Chairman Aamir Ali Ahmed, the Ministry of Interior, and the Planning Commission. Projects are expected to take a time span of 1 to 5 years.
Developmental projects worth of Rs7,200 million for the construction at various commercial places of Islamabad were approved. Rs 3,296 million worth of Margalla Avenue plan and Rs 1,804 million have been allocated for the D-12 Sector.
Funds allocated to other relevant projects included for Rs 1,705 million, Rs 1472 million, and Rs 1,385 million worth of funds for 9th Avenue Shaheen Chowk, E11 sector free chowk, Sector G11 and 5,000 million for conservation of margalla Hills national park.
The CDA hospital, Bara kahu traffic plan, and sector I-8 were also assigned relevant budgets.
