The Real Estate sector is one the most flourishing sectors in the economy of Pakistan and is never out of the league. Though the real estate sector faces many highs and lows but always manages to maintain its presence. Recently, the Ministry of Housing & Works (H&W) and the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI) are organizing, the first International Housing Expo, 2022.
The Expo is a piece of big news in the real estate sector. The Expo will be a 4-day event, from 8th to 11th December. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between both authorities.
The Expo is going to be a big venture for the real estate sector as it will enable the major international and national developers, builders, and real estate enterprises to showcase their projects. It is expected that the expo will pave the way to attract foreign investment in the real estate sector and will also have a positive impact on the economy as well.
The Secretary of the Ministry of Housing and Works, Iftikhar Ali Shallwani stated that: “The government places affordability, sustainability, and inclusiveness of the housing sector at the core of the urbanization process to ensure access to adequate housing for all. “Another major announcement made by the President Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) was the construction of Pakistan’s tallest building in Islamabad and its plan is expected to be announced during the International Housing Expo 2022.
Let’s hope that the International Housing Expo (IHE) 2022, be successful and prove to be a turning point for the real estate sector of Pakistan.
